Is the grass really greener over there?!
I know how many people love their pets and treat them like part of the family, so I present Mack and Willie. In posts to come I’ll blog about my kids and Mr. Incredible but I know I’ll tend to overlook these two. What better way to acknowledge them than giving them their own page.
Mack was our family’s first dog. After we bought a home with a yard, we welcomed Mack to the family. He weighed a mere 2lbs. He’s part Pekenese, part mini-Poodle. Two years later, we hoorah-ed Willie into the family. He is by far the most loyal, most hunger-driven dog I’ve ever met.
These two are my buddies when the kids are gone, asleep, etc. They are my foot warmers during the cold Chicago winter, my entertainment with their “woof-woof dog-dog show” in the evening. They remind me how much I love to be outside and how wonderful it is to run free. They also remind me that I don’t want any more pets- not even a turtle- for a long time.
